Future History Makers: Horizons Students are Ready!
Posted on
This Black History Month at Horizons National, we're celebrating the Future History Makers in our Horizons programs! Horizons students have big goals and dreams for their futures, and we are so eager to see these young people continue to grow into the leaders they are meant to be.
Meet Future History Makers Ja'Mere, Londyn, Zendaya, and A'renzo!
Ja'Mere is a graduate of Horizons at The Harley School (NY). Learn who inspires him to one day "play basketball, maybe football, and run [his] own company"!
Meet Londyn, future community leader! Londyn is in 3rd grade at Horizons Brooklyn (NYC).
"I hope to be a nice person that helps people. I want to plant gardens in the community. I would like to see people helping other people do good in life. I will show them how to do that by helping others so they can see that helping one another will make this world a better place."
Meet Zendaya, future architect! Zendaya is in 4th grade at Horizons at The Ethel Walker School (CT).
"I will build houses to help my community. I want to make house designs and make a whole new world for everyone. I hope to be a kind, loving, and giving person."
Meet A'renzo, voted Most Likely to Lead in his 8th grade class at Horizons Hampton Roads (VA). A'renzo has been with Horizons since he was 6 years old!
Horizons students and alumni inspire us every day with their ambition and determination to make positive change in their communities. Join us here and on social media all year long as we continue celebrating our exceptional Future History Makers!
